1. An organization's ethical standard mirrors the head not the tail. 
2. The organization is one body with many members.
3. Ethics policies and procedures are guidance tools, not personal transformation tools.
4. Core values are not outside of the vision - they shape the vision.
5. Operating under the guise of the proverbial box creates barriers and not change (Gaulden, 2007, p.38-53).
