Lending Library

The Leadership Center's Lending Library is a comprehensive collection of resources for professional and personal growth. More than 2,500 titles are available for loan, including books, books on tape and CD, videos, assessment instruments, periodicals and journals. We review all of our materials, so you know whatever you get will be high quality. And if you're not certain what you're looking for, just contact us. After asking you a few questions about your interests and needs, we'll be able to recommend materials you will find useful.

To borrow resources from the Leadership Center's Lending Library:

• First, become a member. We charge a $50 annual membership fee to ensure that our library offers cutting-edge leadership materials. This yearly fee gives you access to more than 2,500 titles available for loan. The fee also allows you to reserve materials for a specific date months in advance. You can reserve materials online and they'll be shipped via UPS directly to your door.
• Resources are available on loan for three weeks. For resources in high demand, we may negotiate a shorter period.
• Resources will be shipped directly to your door via UPS (for off-campus borrowers). We enclose a self-addressed mailing label for your convenience in sending the resource back to us. (We recommend insuring the delivery and using UPS or FedEx. If you use the U.S. Postal Service, use its "insured" or "delivery confirmation" service so you can be issued a tracking number.) If you work on Ohio State University's Columbus campus, please arrange for the resources you borrow to be picked up from the OSU Leadership Center, located at 2120 Fyffe Road, Room 109.
• If this is the first time you have borrowed resources from the OSU Leadership Center, please contact us at (614) 292-3114 and we will register you in the Spectrum System. Once you have been added to the system, you'll be able to request resources on the website.
• Do you need a resource for a certain date? Please contact us at (614) 292-3114 or by e-mail Kate Lobley at lobley.82@osu.edu or Jody Termeer at termeer.1@osu.edu and we will make sure you get your resource when you need it.
• Please note: If a resource you are reserving is currently out on loan, your request will be placed on a waiting list. Due to high demand, you may not receive that resource for a month or so. The waiting list for the resource is based on when the reserve was placed, and will be sent out accordingly.
