Ten Principles of Power
Ten Principles of Power
October 24, 2000
"Developing honor is a lifelong process. It is neither quick nor easy, but the value of the rewards it offers is immeasurable. If you want to have this kind of power with those around you, you must first win their trust, respect, and admiration. To do this, honorable people incorporate ten basic principles of power:
1. Persuasion
2. Patience
3. Gentleness
4. Teachability
5. Acceptance
6. Kindness
7. Knowledge
8. Discipline
9. Consistency
10. Integrity (Lee, 1997, p.120)"
