A Few Words Go a Long Way
A Few Words Go a Long Way
December 10, 2002
"The scene is a meeting with Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt during which Churchill hoped to get more lend-lease aid from the United States. It is reported that Roosevelt said later to Frank Knox that Churchill was the most brilliant conversationalist he had ever known; yet after establishing the agenda, Churchill only asked Roosevelt question about himself. Churchill got the aid (Fisher, 2002, p. 75)."
