Give Your Teammates Acceptance
"What does it look like to give acceptance to others?
- Determine to ignore some of the struggles of others that have been irritating you. Instead, learn to value their strengths.
- Look for areas in which you may be in a power struggle with someone and give it up.
- Take the focus off yourself and put it on others.
- Be more transparent. Share with a teammate some of your own feelings of falling short in certain areas.
- Recognize the high potential in someone's talents.
- Give someone your trust and let that person know that you are confident that he or she will succeed.
- Give your loyalty (Ellis, 2003, p. 267-268)."
