Nov 9 - Recognizing Trustworthiness
Recognizing Trustworthiness
"People want to be trusted to do the right thing. Mangers who demonstrate trust by providing unlimited access to information, giving employees the freedom to work flexible hours, telework, make decisions without someone's approval, or do the job as they see fit so long as they meet objectives are recognizing that employees have the best interests of the organization at hear and can be trusted to do what is right. Trusting employees provides two elements of recognition; respect and opportunity (Ventrice, 2003, p. 27-28)."
