The Power of Our Attitudes
The Power of Our Attitudes
August 17, 2005
"We may not want to admit this responsibility, but the facts are clear: We are in charge of our attitudes - and our happiness. The choices about the attitude we'll embrace are choices we make every day and a choice we make many times a day.
You attitude is powerful. When facing serious illnesses, doctors will confirm that many times the difference between survivors and those who do not survive is the attitude of the patient. In sports, coaches will confirm that the attitude of the team is a major portion of the game plan. In school, teachers will confirm that positive kids produce positive results. In business, a Gallup poll revealed that 90 percent of people say they are more productive when they are around positive people (Cottrell, 2005, p. 73-74)."
