"Fixing problems fast is a way to short circuit the rumor mill. But how do you slay the dragons that seem to pop up every time you get things under control? There's no easy answer, because the challenges will be constant, and they'll come when you least expect it. And sometimes the things that can eat away at your culture aren't necessarily permanent problems but employee behaviors that need to be modified.
As a leader you have to realize that not every employee does things the same way you do, and you have to respect that. Unless you're the dictator of your own country you'll have to work with all sorts of behaviors and personalities (Baum, 2004, p. 167-168)."
