May 1 - Anyone can be a Leader
Anyone can be a Leader
May 1, 2007
- "Influence = Power.
- People are persuaded differently. Find the hot buttons and push them.
- Enlist the support of others and ask them to join you in your efforts to improve your organization.
- Act in the best interests of the group.
- Express the feelings of the group.
- Approach people individually and ask for their support.
- Avoid the blame game! When you start to blame someone else for a problem or mistake, catch yourself and instead ask, 'How can we fix this together as we move forward?' (Nelson, 1999, p.76)."
