Anyone can be a Leader

• "Influence = Power.
• People are persuaded differently.  Find the hot buttons and push them.
• Enlist the support of others and ask them to join you in your efforts to improve your organization.
• Act in the best interests of the group.
• Express the feelings of the group.
• Approach people individually and ask for their support.
• Avoid the blame game!  When you start to blame someone else for a problem or mistake, catch yourself and instead ask, 'How can we fix this together as we move forward?' (Nelson, 1999, p.76)."
