This workshop allows participants to learn the Gung Ho! principles. Using Native American imagery while telling the parable of a factory head and one of her key division managers who together turn their failing plant around by generating enthusiasm among their work force.

Anyone involved in a project must see the importance of his or her work and understand the shared goals of the group. 

The Way of the Beaver: In Control of Achieving the Goal
A good leader makes sure the goals and values of the group are clearly defined and gives the players the skills, information and autonomy to get the job done. 

The Gift of the Goose: Cheering Each Other On
Using positive reinforcement to affirm contributions to the collective goal helps inspire and motivate people. 

Participants will learn:

How to motivate employees by getting them to understand the importance of their contribution to the "big picture"
How to gain employee commitment by establishing shared goals guided by enduring organizational values
How to instill pride and respect in employees by giving them control over the work they perform and the goals they achieve
How to generate enthusiasm by recognizing progress and results
