Many organizations are experiencing a serious decrease in politeness and common courtesy in the workplace.
A study on workplace civility by Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) discovered that of 650 employees surveyed:
75% experienced incivility
80% have observed incivility
50% felt the urge to be uncivil
The same SNHU study discovered that due to incivility:
24% of the study participants permanently left employment
18% missed workdays, and
24% have left work early
In addition, 51% felt that their efficiency and productivity have been negatively influenced by uncivil acts at their work.
This workshop will help you take proactive steps to:
- prevent your work environments from being hotbeds of incivility,
- build an atmosphere of professionalism, and
- how to treat others with dignity and respect.
