Flex Your Leadership Style
The foundation of personal and professional success lies in understanding self, understanding others and realizing the impact of personal behavior on the people around you. DISCflex™ provides an insight into an individual’s style that can help predict the likely trends of their behavior in the future. It does this by evaluating four key factors in an individual style (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance).
Participants in this workshop will complete an on-line assessment, prior to the workshop. The DISCflex™ report is incredibly thorough, with nearly 60 pages of analysis. DISCflex ™ not only provides an assessment of the individual employee, but offers a 360o view based on input from coworkers, family and friends. This allows for a comparison of your DISC profile with how others see you, showing where your personal assessment varies from those who know you so well.
The report then provides an in-depth review of your “general behavioral tendencies.” It looks at a variety of areas, including:
- Work environment
- Goal setting
- Interpersonal communication
- Dealing with change
- Decision making
- Team interactions
- Giving & receiving feedback
- Participation in and Facilitation of Meetings
- Self-talk
- Alignment and Performance Management
A key element of The DISCflex™is showing you how to ‘flex’ your behavior based on various situations in which you might find yourself. In each of the above reviews, the report provides coaching tips and cautions to show you how to dial up or dial down particular factors as required.
Workshop participants will:
-
Learn to “dial up” or “dial down” appropriate DISC factors for effective communication
-
Gain a better understanding of your general behavior tendencies
