Millennials are no longer simply entering a multi-generational workforce; many are leading it.   As of 2015,  the majority of employees in the workforce are now Millennials, and many are being promoted to supervisory leadership positions.  This generation of highly educated 20-30 somethings tend to have an unconventional supervisory style, which can be a source of inspiration... or conflict. To be an effective supervisor it is important for a Millennial to understand the  work values and management preferences of the other generations. Millennial leaders can utilize soft skills and self-awareness to address them. (most older generation employees/supervisors would say that in their opinion, many Millennials lack soft skills) – you may want to change the verbiage about soft skills

You’ll leave the workshop knowing how to:

  • Identify the main cultural and attitudinal differences of  the generations
  • Utilize soft skills to best lead Gen X’ers and Baby Boomers
  • Practice self-awareness to improve leadership skills

This workshop is designed specifically for Millennials in leadership positions, but may be beneficial to others.

Cost: $75.00 per participant. To register and make payment, please go to https://regonline.com/seriesleadership.

Please note, if you are unable to attend you may send someone else in your place. Cancellations made prior to the day of the workshop will be refunded minus a $5 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made for no-shows/cancellations the day of the workshop.

Certificates of participation are available for individuals seeking professional development hours.
